Our prayer in the worship ministry at New Life is to create an environment that ignites genuine and Christ-centered worship. Each week, we get to use our gifts to serve the Lord through the music portion of our service. For us, worship is more than just music and each week we are humbled to corporately come together and worship our God through song and scripture. Collectively, we share the following:
EXCELLENCE: We want to do the best that we can in the moment that we’re in, but we also want to be continually improving in what we do.
HUMILITY: It’s not about you. We will walk in humility, always putting others above ourselves by believing and seeing the best in them. We depend on the transforming power of God.
COMMUNITY: We do life together by creating relationships in a diverse group of people and investing in the lives of each other. We share each other’s burdens and rejoice in each other’s victories. We will pray for, encourage, support, and affirm one another, as well as be accountable to one another for these values.
TEAMWORK: We all lead; we all follow. Serving together with a unified goal in mind. We add to and enhance one another’s unique abilities and gifts, setting each other up for success.
